Low Ab
Hi Kinya,
My apologies for blowing up your forum as of late... I need a LowAb harmonica to learn a few Gruenling songs but can't seem to find one anywhere. I think he got him customized from Filisko way back in the day but wondering if you know someplace I might be able to find one stock or more affordable.

Hi Taylor
The market price for double reed plate Low Ab is in the $325~$350 range. Double reed plating will make for a more responsive and louder instrument.
Not that there is anything wrong with single reed plate thickness, but if you are going to invest into a customized Low Ab, order the double. You'll thank me in the morning ;o)

Taylor: Seydel makes a low Ab in their Favorite model. They are not stainless steeln reeds (they're brass). The price is 79.95. You might consider that option. Of course Richard Sleigh can make you a Low Ab (single or double reed plates). He makes quite a few harps for Mr. Gruenling. The Seydel is a good harp, but Mr. Sleigh's harps with double reed plates are fantastic. I have a Sleigh Hohner 364 Low C with double reed plates and it's fantastic. It's my number one harp. I don't know if I should be saying that since I'm a Seydel Sales Partner/Customizer. By the way Richard is making me a 364 Low D. I can hardly wait.
Super cool. Thanx Jon.
Hi Taylor
