Dead People Interviews
A long time ago...
...on a Bluesharmonica.com forum far far away...
I started a thread for folks to put down who they'd like David to interview here (has it been almost 10 years already?!?). We got a lot of great responses, and David has interviewed many of them since.
So I got to wonderin'...
What if David interviewed some dead people -- icons of this mysterious art of the harp?
Obviously that's tough to do without worm holes, dark matter, and black hole horizons. But perhaps we could coax David to start a new series where he showcases the greats of the past, talking a bit about their lives, their path to fame (or notoriety), and most interesting to many of us -- their style and techniques (with perhaps some examples).
I personally would love to see such a series. Perhaps David could have some guests from the biz join him for the "interviews" to hear their perspectives. If we could prevail upon David to do such a series, who would you like him to "interview"? My immediate choices:
- Little Walter
- Paul Butterfield
- Sonny Boy Williamson (at least one of the 10 or 12 of them)
- Junior Wells
There's so many more. Who would you all add?
