gapping stainless steel reeds
Hello all,I just bought a seydel 1847 but I'm having trouble adjusting the gap (making it smaller). Before I've allways played crossovers but I wanted to compare them...On my crossovers I've done all the work myself reed shaping, gapping, embossing and fitting a custom comb on them. This makes them play even better than they do out of the box. (believe it makes a world of difference). How do you guys go about this? These stainless steel reeds don't seem to allow much adjusting. I always gap my harps very tight because I'm play with a gentle attack and don't like to huf and puff on my harps ;-)Thnx guys
