Harmonica Collective, April 7-9 in Indianapolis
Now in its fourth year, the Harmonica Collective is a three-day teaching event with enriched content for intermediate and advanced harmonica players. While all staff members are expert blues harmonica players, this event goes beyng blues into rock, jazz, and traditional music.
Co-produced by Winslow Yerxa and Jason Ricci, it offers daily classes from four expert guides, performance coaching with a full band, one-on-one sessions, and evening jamming. In addition to the intermediate/advanced classes, the Red Schoolhouse program offers beginner instruction and remedial coaching from a dedicated staff.
Sponsoring vendors will also be present, including Blue Moon Harmonicas (combs and built harmonicas), and effects and amp maker Lone Wolf Blues. Seydel and Rockin' Ron are sponsors, and we're working on a few more. Merchandise from sponsors will be both offered for sale and raffled and/or auctioned at the end of the event.
