Harmonica Masters Workshops 2012: News Update
The biggest Harmonica Masters ever!
With only four weeks to go until the Harmonica Masters Workshops 2012, we are pleased and proud to announce that this years event has already broken all previous attendance records. To date we have received nearly 120 registrations and the classes with Joe Filisko and Steve Baker as well as Riedel Diegel's beginners course are now fully booked.
A limited number of places are still available with David Barrett and Michael Arlt (blues chromatic), as well as with Eric Noden's blues guitar class. It is also still possible to book a day ticket for Lee Sankey's course on Saturday, November 3rd.
Concerts and Sessions
For anyone in the area, the Harmonica Masters Concerts on Friday November 2nd (David Barrett, B.B. & the Blues Shacks) and Saturday November 3rd (Lee Sankey, Joe Filisko & Eric Noden, Steve Baker & Opportunity) are an absolute "must" and offer a fantastic chance to experience these world class harmonica artists live.
On Wednesday October 31st and Thursday November 1st, open sessions under the direction of Steve Baker give students the chance to step up on stage with professional accompaniment and show what they can do (admission free). After the on-stage sessions and concerts, Joe Filisko's acoustic jam offers a unique opportunity to round the evening off in an informal and relaxed atmosphere. All concerts and sessions take place in the Kulturfabrik Kesselhaus and begin at 8pm.
Sales of HOHNER Harmonicas
At the Harmonica Masters 2012, a sales exhibition in the Trossingen Music School will offer a wide selection of HOHNER harmonicas at special festival prices during the day.
