Within this lesson plan you’ll learn how to: implement bending into your playing; play shuffle bass lines; accompany other musicians on the first six holes of the harmonica; build major scales in all twelve keys; how to cup a bullet microphone; create hand effects; and take your first step into understanding positions.

It’s now time to apply the technique of bending into your playing.
Solo Harmonica Study 2
Move on to Examples 1.7 to the end of the study.
Accompaniment Study 3 – Chords
In this study we move on to understanding how basic chords work and playing them within the 12 Bar Blues Progression.
Music Theory Study 1 – Section 3
This is where you learn about the Major Scale, the scale from which all of our harmonicas are tuned.
Once you’ve completed this material it’s now time record and submit the written section to David for review.

Even though we’re continuing to focus on 2nd Position for a while, there’s a really fun song in Third Position called "Rollin' Rhumba, Version 1" This song has some great high-end licks for you to play; not to mention how fun it is to play a Rhumba! Skip all of the opening videos, just jump into the song! You'll need a G Harmonica for this study
