Rackit 2.0

Greg Heumann has released the second generation Rackit, the 2.0, for public sale. I'm not ready to add either acoustic or amplified rack playing to my learning curve, but I've had a chance to hear the new 2.0 pre-release show-tested by two pros: Mark Hummel, a few weeks ago here in Sacramento CA, and RJ Mischo, just this past Sunday in Ventura CA. The Rackit 2.0 sounds great (especially in the hands - or mouths - of players like Mark and RJ). And at Mark's show, he even tested its durability by dropping his onto the stage floor a couple of times. (I teased Greg about this in an email, wondering if that was part of the testing regimen that he'd specified. He was pleased to hear that getting dropped a few times didn't hurt the 2.0 at all.)
