Rice Miller (Sonny Boy II) Artist Study

In this Artist Study we dig into a study of Rice Miller’s chordal, unaccompanied approach to playing the harmonica. This study is for players that have completed Bending Study 3 and Tongue Blocking Study 3. I use two harmonicas in this study: the Low-C for the video recording and a Low-F for the audio recording. I personally like to use the Low-C for the study song, so I used it in the video, but for the recorded MP3 I used the Low-F. The Low-F is a more common harmonica than the Low-C, so I felt it was best to record your study MP3 using a harmonica that you might already own, or if you need to purchase it, you can be rest-assured that you’ll use this harmonica often enough to warrant the purchase (you’ll be using it in Tongue Blocking Study 5).
