Ross Garren

Every now and again a student comes along that's talented, hard working and stays with it long enough to become not only a fine player, but an inspiring musician. Ross Garren came to me at age 14 and did so well that I eventually brought him in on my teaching staff of the Harmonica Masterclass Workshop at age 17. He's currently residing in Los Angeles, playing piano, harmonica and composing. He received his B.M. from USC where he was named Outstanding Graduate in Composition. In addition to an active performing and recording schedule, he's released numerous solo records, has had his music featured on numerous television shows, and has served on staff at the Musician's Institute. Ross just released his first CD project, with this exceptional track in the style of Peter Madcat Ruth.
