Solo Harmonica Jam Remix

This is an original composition that I wrote and performed and recorded solo.  At first it was one track then later I added additional tracks so it later was then a multi-track recording.  I first recorded one solo harmonica track with Logic.  I used Adobe Audition to convert the file to mp3.  I used a Classic Hohner Marine Band 1896 harmonica in the key of C.  I used the microphone onboard the computer to record the harmonica.  The drums and bass guitar and guitar are Logic synthesizer instruments. continue reading...

Harmonica sounds fantastic in blues. But I was wondering if it could sound cool in the Ukrainian folk music. All of my attempts to find harmonica covers of it gave nothing. So I tried to do it myself with my current knowledge of harmonica. Here is information about original song https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chervona_Ruta_(song). You might watch it on Youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iV_4XvldJw0. continue reading...

My interpretation of Steve Guyger's "Snake Oil", based on David's transcription from the Steve Guyger artist study lesson, played to a simple backing track I made in BandLab. Hope you enjoy it and record it yourselves too!
