Why in the song Temperature which is played in the key of E start with B. wouldn't the I chord (i.e. first scale degree) be E? Then the IV chord is shown as an E and the V chord a D in the first chorus. The I chord in the second chorus starts with a D. and the IV chord a C. I'm confused. Please explain, thanks, Kurt

Hello Kurt. Everything is

Hello Kurt. Everything is written relative to the C Harmonica. So in this case we're in the Key of G, with a C Harmonica played in 2nd Position. The first note is B, which is the 3rd of the Chord. The E is the 3rd of the IV Chord in Bar 5, etc. This way you get used to reading in one key and you grab whichever harmonica you want to play in.
