AAA chord form
DAVE, Im trying to get a handle on my AAA chord form. I have never been accused of being a great student, but I would definetly lile to completly understand this concept, before I move on to the AAB form. If I wanted to play my 2.1, (3 times), my 2.2 (6 times), and my 2.3 (12 times), useing my fills at the apropreate time, would this make up a complete song? I cant wait to move on, i just want make sure I know what Im doing. I have listen to the video, I guess Im just nissing something, or maybe I got it. thanks Dan
Hello Dan, thanks for the question. Most songs will mix the use of chorus forms. So... one chorus might use the AAA CF (Chorus Form), then the next chorus will have a new lick (new "A") and might use the AAB CF, then the next chorus will have a new "A" and could be the A B/A CF. Etc. I recommend you watch all the videos in the series to get an idea of where you're going. That's me... I like buying the audio book of a new book... listening to the whole thing... then going back and reading the printed book and underlining and experimenting with the ideas... it's the way I learn best.
