Advice blues school for guitar
Hi David, I have friends which would like to play blues on guitar with me. Unfortunately, they don't know how to do that yet. They are learning random things, and in majority of cases it is not blues. They are not developing understanding of the blues and everything else what you are teaching here. I have 2 questions:
1. Does your school teaching guitar players? Please provide me a link if so. If not, could you advice good online blues school for guitar? I am not looking for private lessons. It would be the best if format of the school is the same as https://www.bluesharmonica.com/ (watching videos, doing excersices and evaluation at the end).
2. I would like to purchase gift card for them if there is such option.
Thank you for your answer.
Hello Burd. I am not too familiar with guitar websites, but check out http://jamplay.com and see if that works for what you're looking for. Also, you may want to get them the book/CD sets from the School of the Blues lesson series with Mel Bay Publications. The first book in the guitar series focuses on accompaniment playing (good for you). All of the bass books, even though they are guitarists, will be very helpful for groove training/analysis, and it's also common for guitarists to play bass lines in the blues.
