Amp Size

Hi David,
Is it possible to get away with having just one amp that covers home studio practice and recording as well as medium to large venues? The WEZO ME-18 2x10" combo has a pad control pull for half power but does that give you that much range of use?
I'm just trying to make the best decisions so I don't look back with regret after spending so much. Do you think having just a single 10" for home and a larger setup for playing with a band is best?
Thanks,
Hugh
All pro players I know have different size amps. We use our small amps for the studio and our large amps for playing with a band. The 2x10" is a great option though... I've been doing a lot of recording and gigs as of late with a 2x10" setup, so you should be good to go. If the band is too loud to hear yourself, then ask them to turn down, or rearrange your setup on the bandstand to make it easier for you to hear (getting the amp off of the floor and closer to ear level) and/or mic the amp so that you can have some of your sound in the monitors.
