Yep. I have a stand I bought years ago from a Carvin retail store. Much like the 12" wide tilt-backs a lot of places still sell for between $30 and $50, 'though mine seems a tad more bomb-proof than current ones I've seen. Works really well for an amp up to the size and weight of my Roland Cube 30, but I'd hesitate to put anything bigger on it. But I've worked with plenty of musicians who are happy with a turned-over plastic milk-carton crate. (The late "Little Charlie" Baty had a pair of favorite crates that he'd haul miscellaneous gear in, and after empthying them out at a venue, would turn them over and put a black drop-cloth over them on stage and put his amp on them.) A stand can really make a difference in the sound, even if it just lifts the amp off the floor by an inch. Some floors, especially carpet, will eat your amp's sound. For breakfast, lunch and dinner.
