Bending 7
Ok. One final question for a while then I'll give you a break. haha. I finished the Bending studies 1-6 (although I'm still working on controlling the 10 overblow and even getting a 10 overblow on the D and Bb harps). I really dig the overblows but it seems like they are used more commonly in 1st position for more of the country sounding blues. You mentioned at the end of Bending Study 6 that you would be having a Bending Study 7 that would have overblows in the 2nd position. Since I'm choosing to stick with 2nd position for a while, I was wondering if this is still in the works soon. As if you're not busy enough already ;)

I now know why I didn't record it... I didn't like what I wrote. Since your email I've been rewriting and rewriting... still not happy with it yet. A work in progress at the moment.
Overblow lessons will be years down the road. I think you're speaking of blow bending in 2nd Positon?... at least that's what we were speaking of last year. If that's the case, that lesson is off the table now... not enough material to make it work... the process is simple (generally ;-). 9+ dip and 10"+ work well on the I7 Chord. All blow notes work on the IV7 Chord. For the V7 Chord, bending is not generally used. Your music theory studies will also help this. I liked the idea, but it's just stretching it to make a whole lesson out of it.
Thanks for reminding me... yes... I did write a song and a lesson... I just completely forgot about it. I'll look into the song again... maybe February it will release.
