Calling all "Bends" harmonica players,
As some of you may know, I am preparing an article for MelBay's Harmonica Session on Bends Harmonica Company. I wanted to include your thoughts and impressions of the Bends Harmonica(s) you might own, or at least test drove.
"Come one, come all" don't be shy ...

Non-stick coating
Kinya -
The slide on the Bends Tonica models is coated with a textured gray substance that may be teflon; I blelieve this is intended to prevent sticking.
I don't have any Bends diatonics.

I have a Bends 12-hole chromatic, which I reviewed in HarmonicaSessions awhile back.
While it's not the most powerful of my chromatics, it has a pretty, tone, dry and dark, and it records very well.
The slide never sticks, which is a huge plus, and it's airtight, something you can never take for granted in a chromatic.
By the way. the main Bends representative, the Brazilian guitarist and rack harmonica player Thiago Cerveira, will be a featured performer at SPAH this year.
