Blue Dadi software update for PC
Hey all.
I just completed an update to the Windows version of The Blue Dadi, version 1.1e, which has been uploaded to the site and replaced the old version. This update fixes issues related to Quicktime, which Apple has stopped supporting for Windows, causing soundfile read/write issues for a few people.
The new version should run on all Windows variants from 7 through 10 when properly installed (and likely even Vista and XP, but that’s not been tested).
The download page is:http://www.bluesharmonica.com/bluedadi_harmonica_recording_software
There you will find install notes (read these and the documentation that comes in the download packet) plus two in-depth video tutorials.
Also, there’s a teaser video on my YouTube channel:

Thanks again to David for offering this on the site; I hope it proves a fun and useful tool for my fellow students here!

Hi again,
I have just installed the 64bit version of Java, and all seems fine now.
Cheers

Hi John,
I have just tried to run the new version of Blue Dadi. I running on a 64 bit windows 10 system. I am having trouble recording anything. I think it is Java related the 1.1d runs fine.
I have noticed when the new version closes it reports Max (64 -bit) has stopped working. I get a similar message with 1.1d but it states Max (32 bit). Is the new vesrion 64 bit?
Thanks for making the Bdadi available it has qucikly become my main tool for recording my study songs!!
Cheers
Alex
