Blues Chromatic Study 1
Thank you David, I have been waiting for the Blues Chromatic Study. Right now I'm studying the Amp Tone Settings lessons. I guess its very much the same for the chromatic harp?
All the best...............Troy
Thanks David, great info !

That's correct... but notice G of the G7 is a major chord... it's a G major chord with a minor 7th (known as a Dominant 7th, or Major-Minor Seventh). You can also have a turnaround at the end of measure 12, which would be the A7 for the last two beats.
I cover this in the video (or the next... can't remember off hand)... but the 2+ is the 5th of the V Chord and is the Root of the ii chord... so either way you're good!
You got it! And...
The ii7 chord (e7)
1 ...... b3 ....... 5 ......b7
E ..... G ..... B ..... D
P1... m3 .... P5 ... m7
E ..... G ...... B ..... G
Notice that it also can be thought of as a IV chord with a 6th in the root (IV6). You can basically play on the ii7 chord as if it where a IV chord and emphasize the 6th (which is the 2nd)... 2+, 6+, etc. This thought process is great for the diatonic harp as well. In this case we are not spending much time on this chord, but when a I, vi, ii, V progression comes up it's very handy to think that way.
Great! Yes, it is. I do turn the volume up a bit for the chro though.
