I love this tune and you did an amazing job of loading this up with all the skill elements.  I have found this very difficult to get right, but am getting close technically (I find the last lick in the tune the most difficult with the bend followed by the full octive jump) .  I recorded myself today, played it back and said "yuck"....I've got to do better.

I think my main barrior is breathing.  As you said in the intro, there are no rests and meny long phrases.  I think I am going to try to prefect this by taking a few counts break in the long tones, but that's not really okay.

I really sing a phrase and its sounding good but by the end of the phase I am full up with air and either there are no rests or a signle beat.  Then I loose the count and mess up.

As a professional, you must be stealing breaths somewhere?  Where?

Also I listed to Joe F's comments about breathing and the need to empty your lungs before a long phrase.... okay that's a good skill to devedlop but where?

Hello Gary. I'm glad you're

Hello Gary. I'm glad you're enjoying the song. You're correct in regards to making sure to exhale before your phrases. Here is what will help you the most... 1) Make sure your nose is closed for your draw notes... 2) Open your nose to exhale on your blow notes. You may not need to exhale through every blow note, but when you have a phrase that has limited blow notes, make sure to exhale through your nose on the blow notes you do have to keep your breath balanced.
