Converting MP3 files to burn to CD

I'm trying to put some of David's MP3 tracks on a CD so I can have them in my car but having trouble burning through iTunes on my Mac. Has anyone had success doing so?

I was able to burn the tracks by converting them to AIFF format through iTunes.
