Hi Winslow
Do you know of any diatonic players that play or played in the following styles of Music?
1) "Traditional Music of Mexico"
2) "Old Timey Music"
I know of Roscoe Holcomb's playing any others?

Barbara Allen Blues http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M5lxVjRjeDU)
3) "Zydeco"
I know Clifton Chenier played some harp any others?
Hohner made "El Centenario" (a tremolo harp) specifically for the Mexican market but I don't know of any actual players. Diatonic button accordion seems to be much bigger than harmonica in the Mexican market.
Rockin' Sidney, best known for "Don't Mess with My Toot Toot," plays some blues-influenced harmonica in addition to piano accordion.
There have been a number of old-timey harp players. Red Parham comes to mind right away; he had a duo with banjoist George Pegram. Dr. Humphrey Bate on such classics as How Many Biscuits Can You Eat and Ham Beats All Meat.
Not quite old-timey, more like a novelty singer (with great songs!), who played tremolo but sounds sort of like a Bob Dylan precursor, is Pie Plant Pete.
Lonnie Glosson can fit several stylistic categories from old-timey to early Rockabilly.
I'll dig up more in a day or so.
