Downloading Jam Tracks
Dave:
I'm relatively new to the site and not a whiz with my Intel imac. That said, here is my problem and question.
Problem: I spend considerable time traveling in my car and would like to burn some of the jam tracks to a CD so I can practice between consulting jobs. I've tried to do this (jam tracks are downloaded into itunes) but my computer keeps giving me this message: file cannot be burned because it is not on your hard drive.
Question: Are the jam tracks configured in a way to prevent burning to a CD or not? Or am I doing something wrong at my end?
Thanks for your response.
Hmmm... not sure what would cause this to happen to you. Maybe a program on your computer (Flashblock or Net Nanny for example) is stopping the file from being downloaded for security purposes. You may want to research it from that angle. When you figure it out, please share.
Hello Harpslinger. Control-click on the link for the MP3 on the lesson page you want to grab the song from and select "download linked file as"... choose your desktop... the file will now be on you hard drive. From the hard drive you can drag it into your itunes playlist to burn a CD.
