Ending notes in 'The Split'

Some of the notes in The Split end with a very cool crunch sound - the 6 blow in the second bar (if you count the pickup bar - do you count the pickup bar?) , the 6 blow in the 6th bar and especially the 5 draw in the 8th bar. How do you get this sound?

Okay, let me take a listen (good question by the way... no, you don't count the pickup)...

1) 6+ on bar one uses a tremolo, nothing else

2) 6+ on the 5th bar uses a tremolo, nothing else

3) The 5 draw in bar 8 is a flutter tongue (great technique). This is notated in the music notation with the three slashes below the note head. You'll also see this technique taught and explained in "Gary's Blues."
