Finding jam tracks
Hi David
I wonder if there is a place at the internet where I could find 'original' jam tracks for harmonica; with this I mean; the original full sound track of a harmonica song where only the harmonica sound is left out while all other instruments and possibly the voices are still in? If so, to my opinion this would provide an ideal way of learning songs from great players
Or would you know if there may exist a tool or app (free or payable) by means of which I could take a full sound track of a song and delete the harmonica sound from it....?
Hope my question is somehow clear, as my English is not that perfect.....
Many thanks for your answer already
Joris
Just what the doctor ordered. I look forward to adding this to my repertoire. As of now, having backing tracks that allow me to perform live is a lot easier than finding a band.
My pleasure. Yes, I'm a firm believer in jam tracks!
On the bottle-o-blues.com website, under Harmonica Instruction, there is a 12 track CD by Jon Gindick available for $20, of jam tracks in various keys.
Hello Joris. There is not a program, that I am aware of, that can eliminate the harmonica track from a recording. There are generic jam tracks available (non-song specific tracks), and two great ones are...

As for harmonica-specific, Sho has made tracks... email him from here http://www.bluesharptracks.com and see what he has available. Also, Hal Leonard has a cool one for Little Walter called "Hal Leonard Little Walter Harmonica Play-Along Series." Doing a search under that name will give you purchase options.
