Morning David'

When practicing 3', 3'' and 3''' on the G Harmonica (Hohner Crossover) the notes sound airy. What is the cause of this.

Thanks,

Paul

Hello Paul. As your skill

Hello Paul. As your skill progresses in bending, you'll be able to perform a bend on lowered keyed harmonicas with less air. Lower keyed harmonicas tend to be more airy than higher keyed harmonicas in general, so you're not alone. It's also possible that your 3+ reed needs to be adjusted (commonly lowered), so it may be a good idea to take your cover plates off to check that 3+ reed.
