Do you know what kind of Chromatic GH Smith used?
George Harmonica Smith would have used what was available at the time - Hohner 270 12-hole chromatics in various keys, and the 16-hole #280 in C.
On his recordings he sometimes switched seamlessly between third-position chromatic and diatonic, as did Little Walter.
