Good folks to deal with ...
Over the decades I've dealt with some really nice people at places like Guitar Center, Sweetwater, etc. And I suppose there are a couple of nice folks at Amazon. But ... I've always favored spending my money where I know it's going to someone who works hard, rather than to an overpaid CEO somewhere.
So, in no particular order, here are some individuals from whom over the years I've purchased goods (harmonicas, amps, etc.) and services (repairs, lessons, etc.). And in my experience each and every one of them goes beyond the call of duty when it comes to customer service.
Feel free to respond with names of your own. And now, in no particular order:
Ron Hobdy, Rockin' Ron's Music, San Diego CA
Greg Heumann, BlowsMeAway Productions, Geyserville CA
Joe Filisko, Joliet IL
Roly Platt, Barrie Ontario Canada
Rod Boyes, Pinegrove Leather, Stropshire England
Brendan Power, London England
Charlie Lange, BlueBeat Music, Santa Cruz CA
Randy Landry, Lone Wolf Blues Company, Hammond LA
Tom Halchak, Blue Moon Harmonicas, Clearwater FL
Greg Jones, 16:23 Custom Harmonicas, Spring Branch TX
Dennis Gruenling, BadAssHarmonica, North Hollywood CA
Richard Sleigh, Hot Rod Harmonicas, Boalsburg PA
And of course, David Barrett, Bluesharmonica.com, Morgan Hill CA
I have no names to add, but I did want to say that dealing with Rockin' Rons has always been a good experience for me. In addition, Bluebeat Music is quite good -- they sometimes have stuff at a more reasonable price than bigger vendors (I'm looking at you Amazon!)
