Harmonica A or C
I have just logged on for the first time and am a complete novice. I bought a C Hohner Special 20 but the first page on Lessons says that a A Harmonica is required. Can you please clarify? Many thanks.

Most of the lessons require an A harmonica. Basically the different holes play different notes to the C Harmonica. Level 1 has a "C Harmonica Intro Lesson" that you can use with the C Harmonica though, so you could go through that as you can still practise different things like chords and embrochures. To progress though, You'll need an A.
My wife bought me a special 20 C harmonica for christmass .Been using a Blue band 20 for a couple of years.drastic change in air flow form blue band to special 20 .I just purchased a special 20 G .and signed in for the lessons .Oh boy I am medical right know .lol wack my head at work I drive simi so I well be off for 5 more months . so I thought i would improve my playing.former trumpet player. so reading transposing id not a problem. .So I still need to get an A harmonica for these lessons ? thank in advance for your reponse Ron G.
Ron look in the menue top left under lessons you will find a whole section on the C harp till u get the A There is a couple of months work/play in that lesson alone. Happy harping.
