Hello and one question
Hi David
First to say hello, I am glad that I am here. I am Croatian, currently working/living in Manchester UK.Just started your LoA and it is great. Practicing for few hours a day. Wife is almost crazy :)
I have a question regarding tongue blocking technique. I am getting on with it but struggling to "tongue block" hole 2 while I am coming from the left side (from hole 1), but when coming from the right side I do not have a problem to "hit" it.
So far I am doing that way, with puckering hole 1. Is that ok? Will that have any influence in future?
Thanks
Goran
Hello Goran, welcome to the site. I'm glad you're enjoying your studies. It's fine to pucker hole 1, I often play that way as well. When tongue blocking the 2, aim for the wood/plastic to the left of hole 1. When aiming to block the 1 it's common to have your tongue accidentally cover hole 2 a little bit, making it difficult to sound. Give this a try.
