Hohner World Harmonica Festival 2025

I haven't seen anybody post about this yet. It seems that the dates for the Hohner World Harmonica Festival are set for Oct 29 to Nov 2 2025 in Trossingen Germany (home to Hohner).

This will be my first time to go. I've booked a place to stay but some that I tried were already full.

Thanks Winslow. I'm looking forward to going. Maybe if there are others from the board that will be there we can set up some sort of get together. I'll post something about that in maybe a year or so.
It's a trip - and very different from US harmonica festivals. I've been in 1993, 1997, and 2013. It's spread out all over town, and people stay in little pensions all over the place. Hohner factory tours (the new factory on the edge of town) are on Saturdays only. Jams everey night in the Kesselhaus (the decommisioned powerhouse for the old factory). The harmonica museum is a must.
The competitions are taken very seriously by the cometitors, largely Asians and Germans; North Americans don't seem motivated. You can hear them frantically practicing in their rooms before the big event.
