This is my first go at a I chord tune - at anything outside the 12 bar blues structure. It was good fun to put it together but really hard to manage the breathing (the breaks are there mainly to stop me passing out, to be honest).
Very cool groove happening with good use of repitition. You used some very clever fills. I don't find myself saying very often that I think it was too short. You may want to consider repeating some of your ideas again and you really should write an ending too. This piece deserves it. JF
The opening chord just barks – nice! I liked the way you kept the rhythm going while simultaneously seeming to overlay the melody. Choice of harp is good as well – this wouldn’t be nearly as effective on, say, a F-harp. Nice variations of volume and tone. From a composition standpoint the only downside is that it ended too quickly.
Great low harp sound. I like the rhythm idea you used... very catchy. I liked that you used some hand wa ideas. Lick at :38 is a nice one. Nice shake at the end... it felt a little bit abrupt though. Nice work!
That was great! I know very little about this but I thought it had a lovely tone & depth & I liked the way you were able to vary the volume of your playing & make it more interesting that way-something I'm not much good at yet. I can see why you needed breaks for the breathing!

Nice. Very steady and even...
I especially liked the section from 0:38 to 0:47.
When it ended it left me wanting more...
Thanks

Thanks for the feedback, David. Yeah, it was definitely abrupt - I need to get an extra lung to be able to manage more!
