I got shushed yesterday!
I can't believe this. After years of noise in our house. To put this in perspective, you have to understand - this is a musical household. We have many guitars, keyboards, amps, brass and woodwind instruments. My older son and daughter both play. My daughter recently started her own band. My five-year-old has a big mouth and can cause a ruckus all his own without an instrument. We have had many musicians over the years jamming at the house. Heck, when I met my wife I was a traveling musician for pete's sake!
But yesterday, I was practicing my harp (my wife bought me a Super Chromonica 270 Deluxe for Christmas), and what happened?
For the first time in 20 years, my wife said: "Honey, can you please close the door? You're giving me a headache!"
...the end is near.
Maybe if I could play harp as good as you she wouldn't be whining! Happy New Year to you, too!
We have a family like that-one son plays keyboards, one drums,one guitar & me harp. I was saying to my husband (who can play guitar but just doesnt very much now) that we needed to build a sound proof room & he said 'yeah so I can go in it" so dont worry you arent alone!! ha ha

I don't have a You Tube channel. It bugs me that my wife spends so much time on Facebook. Something creepy about having your whole life plastered on the internet for all to see. Plus, the only person I'm interesting to is myself...
...and most times I don't even find ME that interesting.
Sorry!!!!-there is someone on there called Judsons who also liked blues harp & had some good videos sorry for the mistaken identity..But i agree I also hate that sort of stuff & who wants to know about it anyway.
I just checked out that channel. I have to say, he has good taste in music, but what he's doing might be a little on the illegal side. Judging by the angle of those videos, I kind of doubt he's gotten any of the artists to sign release forms. RIAA loves to chew up folks like that for breakfast.
...And he's using my name! Very sneaky...

The musical talent in your family is impressive! That and your background in music sure explains the quality of your playing!! I usually get he headache story at other times..................
