Its Eb blues played on my Ab Lee Oskar harmonica, no reel surprises here except its me on guitar. I was recording some jimmy reed songs on the day, and though it was a great chance to record a backing track for King of Swing. But could not hold myself back from putting down some harmonica on the day, so here it is warts and all.

not really in the swing genre... good control
I'm hearing too much 4 draw
I'm hearing too much 4 draw for my ears-to start off a chorus in a different spot wouls help alot. Maybe 3 or 5 draw, or 6 blow once a in a while. It's got a nice back porch feel though!

Here we go!
CH1 - Nice guitar playing! / Nice lazy feel and traditional tone on the harp
CH2 - You played the 4 a lot in CH1, it's starting to get a little old here... nice playing!... but starting to get a little old...
CH3 - No, the 4 draw! ;-)
Ch4-to end... you essentially played CH1 ideas/material for every chorus. What you do, you do well, but it's time to go to the next step and give us something as cool as CH1, but somewhere else on the harmonica... some different textures... some different rhythms... some different dynamics... some different V-IV-I's... turnarounds... you get the idea. Dig into the Improvising Study lessons, those lessons are for you... a player who can move around the harp, but is ready to take their improvising to the next step. Thanks for submitting, I enjoyed your playing!

Chorus 1: Head - bluesy 4' hole bends
Chorus 2: Improvising with hand tremolo and wa wa
Chorus 3: Head
Chorus 4: Improvising variations 1
Chorus 5: Head
Chorus 6: Improvising variations 2
Chorus 7: Head
Mellow tone
You have a really nice acoustic tone there and it complements the guitar just right. Plenty of 4 draw being used but why not when you pull on it so sweetly! Well played!
Oh Yeah!!!
Nicely done with solid chorus forms and interesting riffs. Turnaround licks and quarter note triplets add rhythmic variety. Liked it!

Thank you Hank, glad you like it.
Sweet!
Great tone and great chops - on the guitar and the harp! I really like the slow-release bends and the way you contrast these with faster runs. Very cool stuff. Also, the recording quality sounds very clear - what did you use for this?

Thanks Jon, The recording I will tell in two parts 1 & 2.
Pt. 1
The main thing that helped on the day with getting that clear recording was my “Apogee Duet” and all sound went through the Apogee and then into the Apple iMac using the GarageBand software. And for the most part I just followed David’s GarageBand lesson when it first went up on the site.
