Last HMW?
Why the last?
("none of you're damned business" is an acceptable answer)
This is kind of a bummer to hear. Are you telling us you're ready to sit on a bench at Venice beach, shorts up to your chest, knee socks, and big giant black sunglasses - feeding the seagulls while you watch the young girls stroll by?
See my post in the general discussion forum - I should have looked here first I guess.
1) You are doing one hell of a fine job (IMHO) in making this THE spot!!!!
2) Unfortunately, this reality does impact on a lot of decisions being made these days. For those of use fortunate enough to still have the luxury of affording our hobbies, the HMW is a great excuse for a holiday (and the only one I take) in California.
Same message from me, thought - thank you David for what you do. I know its what you do but it's the way you do it that makes a difference.
Thank you Hank, you're very kind.
Sounds nice to me!... but I'll need my laptop with me to answer your posts ;-)
Two main reasons...
1) This site takes a tremendous amount of time and resources... my focus is on this site... I'm dedicated to making this site THE spot to learn all things blues harmonica.
2) The economy is still poor, the cost of registration, flight, hotel and lost work time is just too much for most students... this has been the reason for only doing one class a year (I used to do 4 to 5) for the last couple of years... even though you hear things are getting better... my private and workshop students are the men and women on the street, and it ain't getting better. This site is the answer for them.
