Learning materials when out of country
Hi David,
I've picked up a free month trial on the 31st of December after buying a Big River Harp on key of C. After 2 days on intense training, I'm in paternity leave for 5 weeks so got tons of time on ym hand in between each diapers change, I went and baught a Special 20 in A key to start the main lessons in the hopes of following the LOA program and subscribe after my free month trial.
Here's my question, I'm going in vacation in a week out of country where there is no snow and also no wifi or internet connection. I was wondering what type of apps for iphone wich don't require internet of what materials you would suggest me to bring to the beach down south to keep on training and learning without access to all the materials on the site.
Any suggestions incluiding books would be welcome
Thank you for your time
Yan
Hello Yan. I recommend you watch Blues Harmonica Fundamentals if you haven't already done so, and then watch Section 1 of Solo Harmonica Study and all of Tongue Block Study 1. Print out the PDFs for those lessons and download the MP3s and put the MP3s on your phone (via iTunes or whatever music program you use). Use that time to study that material. Study songs commonly take three months to learn, so you'll not run out of material to work on. If you use a program like The Amazing Slowdowner (ronimusic.com) then you can slow down sections of the song and loop them for practice... this will be very handy. Best wishes on the new baby and wonderful vacation!
