LOA question about studying material and tests
As I am going through the material at the LOA1 I've noticed that in each section except for the Song Study, there's more than what's required for the test.
For example, Solo Harmonica Study 1, for the test, asks to master/record/send Examples 1.2, 1.4 and 1.7, but the SH1 has up to 1.15 in the Section 1 and 2.1 -2.8 in the Section 2.
I see that these examples above 1.7 are quite challenging and useful. Are we returning to these Solo Harmonica Studies later on, on some other LOA, or are we supposed to stay on LOA1 as long as we masterred them all, eventhough the exam itself has a lower requirements?
I posted this question on the General Discussion Forum, but it was suggested to me to ask David directly about this.
Apologies for being such a complicated and annoying beginner.
Hello kvladdan, welcome to the site.
Questions are always welcome.
You are correct, you will return to Solo Harmonica studies later on, in another LOA.
The site is designed by subject first, and then skill level. In the case of Solo Harmonica Studies, though the beginning part can be studied by a new player, in Section 2 you need to know how to Slap (LOA-L2) and Pull (LOA-L4), so the LOA path helps you to navigate what you need to focus on now.
