Mike Stevens from Sarnia Ontario Canada
I stumbled across this artist through a random conversation at a garage sale while I was looking at an Amp for sale.
Many others may know of this Canadian artist who has played on the Grand Ole Opry stage a few hundred times according to his bio.
I was fascinated with the accompaniment playing as I watched numerous YouTube videos of him.
I'm thinking we just might see each other one day on youTube.
Better yet, playing on the same stage at some future function.
I live in London, Ontario so I hope to see Mike Stevens in yah near future. Similary I had the opportunity recently to see Carlos Del Junco at the London Music Club where I have been slowly getting my feet wet on jam nights.
Of course the short term goal is to get that level 4 hole filled in on my profile.
Saw/heard Mike in Vicotria last year and was totally blown away (pun intended) Wicked chops and definitely worth catching him if he is in your area!!
Sometimes you stumble across some interesting things. Cool harp playing. Some nice chugging. Certainly something to aspire to. I remember traveling through Sarnia when I lived in Michigan. I'd go through Ontario province on my way to New York via Niagra Falls to visit family.
Maybe have a chance to hear you play like that on YouTube some day.
