New Bulletini
Hello Mr. Heumann,
I just purchased a Bulletini thru RockinRonsMusic & love how it sounds with my Fender Silver Faced Champ.
My question is in relation to the following statement in your add,
'"So far it makes every small amp it has been tested with, including Kalamazoo, Memphis Mini and the Harp Train 10 sound better than anything else I know."
Does this mean that you would recommend one of your larger shelled mics when playing thru a large amp like say a Bassman?
Or will my Bulletini sound just as good as your larger shelled Heumann Element mics with a large amp?
The reason I ask is although I have big hands I still prefer the smaller shell of the Bulletini.
Thanks
Dan
Hi, Dan
By now I suspect you've had a chance to try the Bulletini alongside other mics through a larger amp like a Bassman. So - tell us what you think!

Hi, Dan
Through large amps - The Heumann Element reduces harshness by enhancing bass and reducing treble, allowing you to turn the bass down on your amp and the treble up. That will give you more definition and more tonal range between cupped and uncupped. If you’re currently turning the bass on your amp up over 7 and the treble down under 3, I’m betting you’ll like THE better. There are already over 300 THE’s out in the world now so what I’m saying is based not on my opinion but on customer opinion.
Some people are very "wed" to a very specific concept of tone - and a great vintage element like a good Shure Crystal or Black label CR - though considerably more expensive - will give a different tone than The Heumann Element. Because big amps tend to be cleaner than small ones, these differences are more noticeable.
Cheers
