New to the Site

I'm new to this wonderful site. I'm making my way through all the interviews to get a feel for where I might fall as far as style and technique. I was amazed when I heard that John Nemeth used the underside of his tongue to tongue block. I've always done that and was discouraged when I learned that i was doing it wrong. But this encouraged me to know that if it works, don't fix it! It helps to hear all of these interviews and get opinions on different techniques and how each player approaches his craft. I do think you need a woman in there. Annie Raines sent me a couple emails and told me how she improvises on certain songs. I think she's awesome.
