A novice question again - the difference between material and requirements per LOA
As I am going through the material at the LOA1 I've noticed that in each section except for the Song Study, there's more than what's required for the test. For example, Solo Harmonica Study 1, for the test, asks to master/record/send Examples 1.2, 1.4 and 1.7, but the SH1 has up to 1.15 in the Section 1 and 2.1 -2.8 in the Section 2.
I see that these examples above 1.7 are quite challenging and useful. Are we returning to these Solo Harmonica Studies later on, on some other LOA, or are we supposed to stay on LOA1 as long as we masterred them all, eventhough the exam itself has a lower requirements?
Apologies for being such a complicated beginner.

Great qustion to ask David here on his "Ask Instructor David Barrett" thread.
David has spent decades studying learning and teaching. The examples in each LOA that may be a little bit of a challenge can really stretch you. And make you feel more solid on the specific examples he uses for a LOA test. But they're all useful, and part of your progress as a harmonica player.
