Hello LJ. No, it does not. It only recognizes one pitch at a time. Here's a trick for you...
1) Get painter's tape
2) Place the painter's tape over the front of your comb
3) Poke a hole (pencil tip) in holes 1 and 4
4) Blow/draw over four holes and you'll hear what an octave sounds like
5) Take the tape off and try to make it sound the same (if you have two of the same key of harmonica, you can use one without tape and one with... switching back and fourth until you can match the sound of the octave)
