Piano / Harp blues music
I have a friend who wants me to play with him and he's a piano player/signer. He can play most anything. Does anyone know of a Blues Harp player who works with a piano? Solo or accompanyment. Im looking to get some examples of 12 bar blues tunes that fit.
There's a great track of Sonny Boy doing "No Nights by Myself" - just him and a piano. Look it up on Youtube. Nice groove!
There's an LP of Muddy Waters pianist Otis Spann with Cotton on harmonica.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AmSNIfdFNGc
For just piano and harp, no bass or drums, there's the classic 1929 Blues Birdhead first position instrumental "Mean Low Blues" that hapens to also feature the first known overblow on a recording:

Rhythm Willie also recorded in the 1940s with just piano, including "New Block & Tackle" and several others:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aF3eBjBRjs0
You can search for Willie "Big Eyes" Smith and Pinetop Perkins. They also recorded a recording. (however, with bass and drums). Great stuff
