Hi David,

When playing in unison with the guitar, is this just when the guitarist is soloing or can there be other areas where playing in usison occurs. The reason I ask this is because I'm revisiting the study song, I want you with me, and want to try and play unison with the guitarist.

Have a good day,

Paul

Morning Paul. No, not during

Morning Paul. No, not during their solo... only for the head or hook of a song. Listen to "Temperature," Tongue Block Study 2. You and the guitar are playing in unison in the first chorus, creating the head of the song. I recommend you go to Improvising Study 7 and watch those videos, that will clarify what you're looking for.
