Renato: The folks at Lone Wolf Blues make really high quality products, and they are really nice people as well. If your wallet can stand it, go for the HarpDelay. But if you're on a budget, or just want to experiment with a delay pedal, take a look at the Danelectro FAB delay pedal. It does a pretty good job, and runs off either a plug-in transformer, or 9V battery, if using the latter makes it a bit easier if you're bringing it to a jam. (Although like a lot of effects pedals the battery doesn't last long, so best to get a transformer to plug in when using the pedal at home.)
Hello Renato. Delay and reverb are the most common effects used by harmonica players. I like delay. Neither of these are necessary... there are many players out there that use no effects... but I like them. I recommend you go to your local music store (these are common effects used by all musicians) and try these effects to see if you like them. The one I personally recommend is https://www.lonewolfblues.com/products/harp-delay. The Dan Echo that's out there is not the same as the older one I use.
