It was mentioned that swing is assumed. However the triplets on the last bar of line 1 and the triplets on the second line were not swung when you sang and counted it.

example:  A four AND A on the last bar of line 1 instead of A Four     A

Am i missing something?

Answer

Swing is based on triplets, so triplets are not modified.

Sorry. I've listened to your comments about assuming swing for rest of song and I realised that you meant swing for eighth notes! Triplets are only swung if the two notes are joined by a tie, as in the first bar
