Rollin' Rhumba sheet music
Hi David,
In the Rollin' Rhumba sheet music 2nd chorus, measure 2 starts with an eighth rest, but I cant' hear you playing it in the recorded mp3. It seems you play it shorter or not at all, and move it after the first beat. Am I right? Should I play it exactly as in the sheet?

Hello Marek. What you're hearing is a ghost chord on the downbeat. I played a soft 1 2 3 draw on that downbeat. Just ignore that and play the 5 draw I play on the upbeat. Sorry for the confusion... these ghosted chords are part of my rhythmic playing and when playing these more basic songs it's hard for them to not pop in every now and again.
I see, that's why I so struggled (and failed) to sound the same as you :-) Thank you very much for clarification.

BTW, you play the 6th measure, which should be the same as the 2nd one, exactly as in the sheet music.
