The shake technique uses tongue blocking, right?

Howdy David,

Just to be sure, the shake technique  uses tongue blocking so you have to move the tongue too. Is my understanding correct?

So I have to move my tongue too, right?

So I have to move my tongue to block/unblock the corresponding holes, don't I? It is kind of tricky.

Your mouth and tongue move as

Your mouth and tongue move as one. It’s important to use a light touch with your tongue on the face of the harmonica, otherwise your tongue will create drag as it gets caught in the holes. You’ll get it, just keep everything relaxed.
