Nice work
You have a great feel for the groove of this backing track and blow some cool licks in there, complementing the horns nicely. Your treatment of the stops at 1.03 and 2.35 is very effective and I particulary like the repetitive chorus starting at 1.50. Well done!
Good stuff!
Agreed, good riff ideas and variety. I like the way you played around the horn lines too. I don't get the sheet music reference - I guess you didn't use sheet music for this?

Nice use of spaces to emphasize your melody lines. Not sure if you tongue blocked or lip blocked but tone sounds a little of thin side. Worth visiting the lessons on tone and tongue blocking. Lots of really good riff ideas here and I really liked the way you varied sustained notes with quick note runs to give the choruses lots of interest. Solid take for your first 'offering'. Well done!
