Thanks for listening :) yes I'm from England
this is some amazing harping,
this is some amazing harping, thank you for the link
I'm sure it's all copied from other harp players for the most part, but I've never learned any songs yet and I get to choose how to organise it :)
I don't really enjoy fast harp playing that doesn't follow the chords so I don't mean it in that sense either, I'm just aiming for a feeling, sometimes I get it sometimes I miss it.
Cheers and hope you have a great week.
Thanks man, but I cannot lie
Thanks man, but I cannot lie I always play to try and impress or inspire my fellow human maestros. Especially when the sole purpose is to upload it to the website :D
Other than being slightly autistic or something of that nature, I totally agree with you on a whole, I'm not really trying to impress, I'm just trying to stay faithful to the blues and song structure without directly copying too many licks.
Dont worry about copying licks
I dont know if im correct on this Sam, but Every thing I breath into my Harmonicas, Im imitating somone els. At least here in my second year of any music at all. I've listen to all the interviews on this site and they all copied there favorate player when they started thirty years ago. I love trying my best to imitat kim Wilson, Sunnyboy, Magic Dick and David Barrett. Amongst others like Charlie Muscle White. Some day if I live long enoug seeing im 56, I might think of somthing to do on my own. One thing I will continue to do Is study the lessons here like Im on the 4th music theory lesson. Can you play Summertime like the way Mark Hummel does it. So cool. https://youtu.be/jrY-5BB5kYc

At first I thought this mark hummel recording was on a minor diatonic, and I intended to get one for a while now to take up your challenge...
But the other day I figured it was on a chromatic harp! And I have one of those so I'm going to give this a go soon.
Again cheers for that link, love this version.
Dont worry about impressing.
Dont worry about impressing anyone here. I upload anything im working on. I will continue to improve day by day. I upload to show the progress and results of my practice. I stumble and miss notes. I struggle to play with accuracy and speed. I post to get encouragement and maybe some advice. I play alot and im anxious to see if theres any hint of notice. Personaly Sam, friends are nothing more then situational acquaintances. Love your family and the couple of true friends you might have the fortune to have. Im with you on that one.
